"This doodle bag is an upcylced purse by Tommy Hilfiger that has been completely covered with one-of-a-kind, hand drawn illustrations. I simply took a twenty-four-color pack of Sharpies and got to work. The theme of this bag is the classic 1985 film, "Back To The Future." On nearly every square inch of this purse there are characters, scenes, and memorable quotes from the movie in somewhat sequential order. The illustrations are mostly from the first installment of the trilogy, with a few drawings underneath the top flap indicating what is to come in the following sequels. There never has been and there will never be a cooler Back To The Future tribute fashion accessory in all of time. Since you probably don't have a time machine you should get it while it's still here.
This boxy Delorean-esque purse is about 11" wide and made of a cream colored rugged canvas material with an adjustable navy blue leather strap and trim on the front flap that reminds me a little bit of the bumper of a car. It has a clunky chrome square buckle above the trim and a magnetic snap closure inside the flap. The bag has a velcro pocket across the back and one internal zipper pocket. In the words of Marty, this purse is "heavy." Seriously though, it is an incredibly sturdy and well made bag, you can just feel that it is top quality. I used to make themed bags like these for my friends as gifts and they always would get tons of compliments whenever they would wear them out. The illustrations are quite durable and will last as long as the bag does if you use common sense. I would stick to hand washing or spot washing if it gets dirty, for instance, just to stay on the safe side. This purse comes signed by me inside, along with the name of my Etsy store if anyone asks you where you got it…and you know they will."
